Family, fellow Marines remember Lance Corporal Harry Kito

Family, friends and fellow U.S. Marines stopped by KFSK-FM Friday, Nov. 9th, 2012 to honor Lance Corporal Donald “Harry” Kito of Petersburg. He was killed while fighting in Vietnam July 8th, 1967 at the age of 25. The family and marines were in town for the dedication of a bridge in Kito’s honor south of Petersburg.

Maritime industry looks to train a skilled workforce

There is a lack of skilled workers in the maritime industry so a group of maritime industry businesses called Maritime Works has partnered with training programs in the state to fill that gap. more
