Petersburg students create interactive museum

Younger students at Petersburg’s Rae C. Stedman Elementary School had a field trip to a museum Tuesday – though the museum was just down the hallway in the school library, and the museum’s curators were all fifth graders. The fifth grade class is studying early American cultures and for one day set up a museum of early American culture featuring 80 “artifacts” they made along with iPad presentations about their creations. Joe Viechnicki stopped by the school to speak with a few of the students and their teacher.
