Local officials discuss police station site, design, cost

Petersburg’s new police station and jail will be built next to the new firehall, but it won’t be attached. The City Council Last (Monday) night approved a conceptual site plan that places the new building just west of the Firehall parking lot. This option for the placement of Petersburg’s new Police Station was approved by the City Council this week.
