Frederick Sound chinook release plan makes progress

A plan to improve hatchery king salmon returns near Petersburg has made it past another couple hurdles. A group of Alaska Department of Fish and Game scientists, fishermen, and hatchery representatives has recommended the proposal move forward and one of the key permits has come through.
