Transient tax measure passes 2nd read

Petersburg’s Borough Assembly last Tuesday (2/19) passed a borough-wide extension of the transient room tax in its second reading. The four-percent tax has long been levied on hotel rooms and other traveler accommodations within the former city limits. The ordinance applies it to the broader borough-area.
