Lee’s “New Strata” art show opens this weekend

Petersburg resident Polly Lee may be 91-years-old but that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to make art. Her latest work includes paintings and pastels which will be on display at the Clausen museum. Angela Denning stopped by Lee’s home studio to find out what her new collection is all about.
The art show, “New Strata” will have an opening reception Friday night and will remain on exhibit through August 28. The opening reception is Friday, 5 to 7 p.m.
Guitarist Chris Proctor makes his second visit to Petersburg this week, almost exactly five years after his first concert here.
Proctor plays solo, acoustic six and 12-string guitar. more
