PETERSBURG, AK Commercial fishermen in Alaska have mixed reactions to newly proposed federal regulations on fishing safety. The proposals, currently under consideration in Congress, would impose new construction standards on fishing vessels, require more training for skippers and mandate Coast Guard inspections.
