Officials break ground for new fire, EMS building

PETERSBURG-AK Earthwork is now underway on the location for a new fire and emergency medical services facility in Petersburg. As they broke ground on the long-awaited project Monday, Fire Department volunteers and city officials expressed hope that the site preparation would help in their quest for money to construct the actual building.
