PETERSBURG, AK A fledgling independent ferry authority is asking the Inter-Island Ferry Authority to lease a vessel to resume service between Coffman Cove, Wrangell and South Mitkof Island near Petersburg. The port authority formed by residents of Coffman Cove is still hoping this spring to restart the route that was once covered by the IFA. Joe Viechnicki reports.
