PETERSBURG-AK Educators, counselors, day care workers and kids are getting ready for this year’s Early Childhood Family Fair in Petersburg. The event combines games, learning activities, and workshops for children and their parents. There’s free screening for kids hearing, vision and developmental issues at the fair as well as exhibits on a variety of topics and services available for families. There will be fire trucks, free helmets and characters like Mcgruff the crime dog. There will also be entertainment courtesy of “Little Kids Rock” and the “Steppin’ Out” dancers.
