KFSK News and the Petersburg Medical Center monthly program, “PMC Live” airs at 12:30pm, the first Thursday of each month. The program will focus on different departments, new initiatives, and highlight challenges at the medical center.
The January 7 episode features Dr. Jennifer Hyer, Nurse Manager Jennifer Bryner, Infection Prevention Manager Liz Bacom, and CEO Phil Hofstetter talking about PMC’s response to the local outbreak of COVID-19. PMC is asking everyone with unusual symptoms to them to get tested, even if the symptoms are mild.

The November 5 episode features Kirsten Rioux-Testoni, Home Health Manager, and CEO Phil Hofstetter, talking about PMC’s growing Home Health Department.
The October 1 episode features PMC CEO Phil Hofstetter, Dr. Jennifer Hyer, Nurse Manager, Jennifer Bryner, and Infection Prevention Manager, Liz Bacom. They talk briefly about a staff person testing positive for COVID-19 and they talk in detail about the flu season and the importance of community members getting flu shots this year.
The September 3 episode features new PMC doctor, Dr. Kayla Luhrs, along with CEO Phil Hofstetter. Luhrs talks about how she likes living in Petersburg and her plans to start group healing at PMC. They both discuss having five doctors at the medical center.

The March 5, 2020 episode featured Devynn Johnson, Project Manager and Kelsey Lambe, Public Relations staff at Petersburg Medical Center – the discussion focused on the Health Fair scheduled in early April, also the COVID-19 virus and the community’s readiness.
The February 6, 2020 episode featured Matt Pawuk, PMC’s EHR and Technology Systems Lead, talking about keeping digital medical records, and CEO Phil Hofstetter, giving an update on a proposal to build a new hospital in town.
