Second, unrelated, threat against the Petersburg School District

A Petersburg high school student made threats against the Petersburg School District’s secondary school on Tuesday afternoon.

This is the second threat to the school district by a student in less than two weeks.

Petersburg cross country team runs hard in Sitka

The Petersburg High School cross country team had its third meet of the season last weekend. The team competed in Sitka against 2A, 3A, and 4A schools. Runners from 16 schools were there, making it the largest meet of the season.
