Petersburg schools are online, meals stretch into weekends

Researcher discusses changing ocean impacts on SE shrimp, crab

An online presentation for Petersburg’s Science Series Thursday, April 16 will focus on some of the shrimp and crab species of Southeast Alaska in changing ocean conditions. Sherry Tamone is a professor of biology at the University of Alaska Southeast. For the past six years she’s been studying the growth and life history of spot shrimp in Alaska.
