It’s the 18th Annual Beat the Odds Run-Walk this Saturday in Petersburg. The run-walk starts at 9 a.m. at the Community Gym. You can register there at 8:15 a.m. or preregister at Lee’s Clothing.

At their last meeting, the school board heard an accreditation report for the high school and voted in a new president.

The Norwegian Ambassador to the United States and Alaska’s Lt. Governor spoke to students at Petersburg’s High School, Sept. 29. As KFSK’s Angela Denning reports, they talked about climate change in the Arctic and how Norway and Alaska are responding.
