Judge orders FDA to study dangers of wild release of genetically engineered salmon
A federal judge has ordered regulators to study the risks to wild salmon stocks should a GMO fish escape and become established in the wild.
Marketed as AquAdvantage Salmon, the fish is designed to grow about twice as fast as conventionally farmed Atlantic salmon.
