PETERSBURG, AK Two artists with Swedish roots opened up a show of new works in Petersburg this month. The show is called "Magic" and it is on display at Seaport Gallery. It features 16 new water color and oil paintings completed over this past summer by Petersburg artist Pia Rielly along with around 30 collage paintings and ceramic works done by Seattle artist Kerstin McKee. The two friends have had joint shows together before in Petersburg, Seattle and their native Sweden. Joe Viechnicki spoke with Reilly and McKee this week about their latest work.
