PETERSBURG-AK The 2010 Little Norway Festival has arrived. The annual celebration of Norwegian heritage in Petersburg commemorates Syttende Mai, Norway’s constitution day on the 17th of May. It’s the 53rd year of the local festival, and it’s also the centennial anniversary of Petersburg’s incorporation as a city. This year’s Mayfest includes new events as well as traditional offerings, and of course the vikings and valkyries will be out and about throughout.
