PETERSBURG, AK Tiny king salmon reared at Crystal Lake Hatchery south of Petersburg next year will enjoy some warmer water that could boost the number of fish surviving and returning to that facility. That’s thanks to a heat exchanger the hatchery is installing this summer to take advantage of warmer water from nearby Blind Slough.
