The fifth annual Tongass Rainforest Festival continues into this weekend with several field trips, talks and kids events to choose from as well as an art show reception and a Potluck. There’s also a post-festival writing workshop the following week.
Still to come today is a kids nature walk, an art walk, more halibut hook carving, and a talk on identifying Southeast Alaska Birds with Petersburg’s Tana O’leary, who will follow-up Saturday morning with a bird-watching field trip.
