About 20 of Petersburg’s Viking Swim Club members swam a combined total of around two thousand laps for a fundraiser event over the weekend. The club typically tries to bring in about 10 thousand dollars during the annual swim which is newly-named Laps for Loot. Each young swimmer puts in a hundred laps in return for pledges from their sponsors. Matt Lichtenstein stopped by to chat with some of the participants at the edge of the community pool.
