Petersburg’s Borough Assembly has two open seats in the Oct. 7 municipal election. Five people are running for a 3-year term.

One of the candidates is incumbent Donna Marsh, 59. She’s lived in Petersburg for 40 years, and works for her family’s commercial fishing business. She is currently vice mayor on the Petersburg Borough Assembly.

Marsh sat down with KFSK’s Olivia Rose to talk about why she decided to run for reelection to her assembly seat.

The other candidates for assembly are Bob Martin, Tony Vinson, Raliegh Cook, and Jeff Meucci.

Petersburg’s municipal election is Tuesday, Oct. 7. Early voting is available weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. downstairs at the municipal building until  Oct. 6 at noon.
