The annual Christmas Bazaar will be held Dec. 11 at the Sons of Norway Hall in Petersburg. The event includes local vendors selling arts and crafts and the Sons selling a variety of soups and rolls. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

1,400 pounds of ground moose meat was delivered on Dec. 3 and another 500 pounds will be given out in February. The meat comes from seven moose that were killed in the fall hunt but were illegal, mostly because the antlers did not meet the size requirements.
