Local resident Sally Riemer has published her first book. It’s called “Playing with poetry in Petersburg” and contains a collection of Riemer’s poetry from the past three decades. Riemer, a retired teacher, is one of two writer laureates for Petersburg this year. She self-published the book through an online company called X libris and talked about her poems at the public library Monday. Joe Viechnicki spoke with Riemer about her book.
