Sales tax cap question slated for Petersburg ballot
Petersburg voters will decide this fall whether to raise the town’s sales tax cap. The measure was previously on the 2024 municipal ballot, but failed by five votes. The Assembly also considered a different potential ballot measure on June 15 — a proposal from the Borough’s electric utility department, requesting a $3.3 million revenue bond.
