PETERSBURG-AK Studying the relationships between the plants and people of British Columbia has been Nancy Turner’s passion for over 40 years. Turner is a professor at the school of environmental studies in Victoria. She is an ethno-botanist who has authored more than 20 books about plants and contributed to 40 more. Turner was in Petersburg for the Tongass Rainforest Festival. Matt Lichtenstein spoke with her about her work:
