PETERSBURG, AK Public input on the design of an new Alaska state ferry in Petersburg last week focused on everything from the vessel’s interior to its ability to move freshly caught seafood out of town. Marine Highway system officials last Tuesday fielded questions and comments on the design of a new Alaska class ferry.
