PETERSBURG-AK Track season is underway for Petersburg High School. It’s a popular sport among students again this year. There are about 40 kids taking part, but only fourteen vikings traveled to the first competition in Ketchikan last weekend because of conflicts with other activities. Petersburg finished fourth behind Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka, but coach Brad Taylor is hopeful the Vikings will be able to field a stronger group for the upcoming meet in Juneau, early next month.
