PETERSBURG-AK A nationally-acclaimed children’s storyteller and author is holding workshops and giving performances in several southeast Alaska towns this week. Jim Weiss has won numerous awards for his recordings of classic literature, folk tales and history.
His most recent works include readings from Rudyard Kipling’s “Just So Stories” and Charles Dickens “A Tale of Two Cities”. Matt Lichtenstein previewed some of the recordings and spoke with Weiss about his craft:
