The political comedy troupe Capital Steps performed live in Petersburg Tuesday night in a show sponsored by the Petersburg Arts Council and KFSK Public Radio. Earlier in the day, Matt Lichtenstein spoke with Steps members Mike Tilford and Bari Biern They explained that the group started back in 1981 at an office Christmas party for then Senator Charles Percy of Illinois:

The Capitol Steps also have shows scheduled for January 26th in Juneau and the 29th in Homer.
