Petersburg’s school district is looking at nearly status-quo spending for next year. Unlike many districts across the state, Petersburg is not facing any major cuts but the draft plan is tight. At the same time, a change in state law could mean some additional money that school officials hope to use for capital improvements. The Superintendent and staff presented their budget to the school board last week. Matt Lichtenstein reports:
