The City will break ground next month for Petersburg’s long-anticipated library project. The City Council this week awarded three major contracts for construction, engineering, project administration and inspection. Councilors also awarded contracts for several smaller projects this week and they took a step towards pulling the city out of the Inter-Island Ferry Authority which no longer serves Mitkof Island.
