Petersburg’s new police station and jail will be built next to the new firehall, but it won’t be attached. The City Council Last (Monday) night approved a conceptual site plan that places the new building just west of the Firehall parking lot. That decision came after an earlier worksession, in which the architect and local officials went over some of the design and cost issues… Matt Lichtenstein has more on that discussion.
