Kelly Swihart has been in law enforcement in Alaska for about 22 years. He worked in Palmer, Wasilla, and Hoonah before settling in Petersburg. He leads a team of nine officers and five dispatchers when the department is fully staffed. They are looking for one of each of those positions right now.

The couple spoke with KFSK’s Angela Denning about their tenure in Petersburg.
