Petersburg High School’s basketball teams recorded four more wins this weekend. The boys varsity won two home games against Craig while the Lady Vikings swept the Lady Panthers on the road.

The Vikings beat the Panthers 62-41 on Friday and 73-42 on Saturday. In the first game Rylan Wallace lead Petersburg’s scoring with 14 points. The Vikings also had 13 from Brayden Larson, nine from Brennan Skeek, eight from Mattias Volk and seven points each from Thomas Durkin and Gunnar Payne. The second game saw 23 points from Durkin, 14 from Skeek and eight from Payne.

The boys play Mt. Edgecumbe in Sitka this weekend.

Meanwhile, the girls were in Craig for two games and won 50-32 on Friday and 46-31 on Saturday. Kaili Simbahon led scoring again both nights with 12 points the first night and 16 the next. Allie Davis added 10 points on Friday and Ines Larson scored 12 on Saturday.

The girls also play in Sitka this weekend, with some junior varsity games against the Wolves.

The Vikings are 10-2 on the season, the Lady Viking 6-6.
