Petersburg residents can win prizes for walking in the month of May. It’s the annual Pedometer Challenge put on by the local tribe, Petersburg Indian Association.

The Pedometer Challenge has prizes each week for different age groups.

Tori Shay is the Director of PIA’s Tobacco Prevention and Control program, which is coordinating the event. KFSK’s Angela Denning talked to her about the details.
