
Petersburg’s Borough Assembly has two open seats in the Oct. 7 municipal election. Five people are running for a 3-year term.
One of the candidates is Tony Vinson, 55. He’s lived in Petersburg for about 9 years and works at the medical center clinic.
Vinson ran for borough assembly last year but wasn’t elected. He sat down with KFSK’s Olivia Rose to talk about why he decided to run for assembly again.

The other candidates for assembly are Bob Martin, Raliegh Cook, Jeff Meucci, and incumbent Donna Marsh.
Petersburg’s municipal election is Tuesday, Oct. 7. Early voting is available weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. downstairs at the municipal building until Oct. 6 at noon.
