PETERSBURG-AK Petersburg’s Harbor Board and staff are recommending the installation of security cameras in the harbor parking lots. The idea was prompted mainly by misuse of harbor garbage dumpsters as well as vandalism to restrooms and thefts from cars. The system could also be used to keep an eye on the floats and to provide a video record of harbor comings and goings….in case a crime does occur.
