PETERSBURG, AK Planes won’t be landing on Petersburg’s runway during a month-long shutdown that starts up Sunday night. The closure will allow for the replacement of three culverts underneath the landing strip. It will have airline passengers taking a shuttle bus and ferry to and from Alaska Airline flights in Wrangell for the next month.
