City seeks to cut short planned pipeline repairs

PETERSBURG, AK The latest chapter in the saga of Petersburg’s water pipeline to Cabin Creek may be coming to a close. The city council Monday voted to look into ending repair work on the problematic pipe, following a positive flow test on the line this summer.
