PETERSBURG, AK Local voters in October will decide whether Petersburg should join a regional authority to deal with trash and recycled materials. Petersburg’s city council Monday passed an ordinance that would set up a Southeast Alaska Regional Solid Waste Authority, if voters approve, and other Southeast communities opt to join.
March 31 is the deadline to make a donation to a nonprofit through your Permanent Fund Dividend. Thank You for supporting Petersburg nonprofits!!
