Petersburg track heads to state after girls take regional title

PETERSBURG It’s been a big year for Petersburg’s High School Track and Field program. The girls team won the Southeast Regional 3A conference title for the first time last weekend. Also, more Petersburg girls and boys qualified for state than ever before. Matt Lichtenstein caught up with the track teams during their last practice at home before they left for this weekend’s state meet in Fairbanks.
