Petersburg officials are trying to decide whether to buy a piece of waterfront land at Scow Bay for harbor use. A higher-than-expected property appraisal prompted some concern at Monday’s council meeting. Also this week, the Council heard another request to put more of the city’s raw fish tax into the harbor department.
