Two representatives with the Alaska State Council on the Arts traveled to Petersburg this week to visit with local artists and community leaders about the arts economy.

The council’s executive director Shannon Daut and arts in education program director Laura Forbes hosted a discussion Sunday night about the opportunities for promoting art locally and outside of Petersburg. They stopped by the studios of KFSK and Joe Viechnicki spoke with Daut along with the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce’s Cindi Lagoudakis.
