We heard from Governor Sean Parnell while he was in Petersburg for the Alaska Native Brotherhood Alaska Native Sisterhood annual convention. Parnell is running for re-election in the November 4th general election. Also in Petersburg the same day was his opponent, Byron Mallot. Mallot, who is from Southeast Alaska, had been running for Governor but merged campaigns with Independent Bill Walker and is now running as Lt. Governor.
