Eleven teams from around Southeast are arriving in Petersburg Friday to compete in a 3.1 mile race Saturday morning.
KFSK’s Avery Herman-Sakamoto caught up with the Coach Tommy Thompson and some of the runners at practice this week.
Thompson said they have a small team this year but it’s balanced.
The girls teams will compete at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and the boys at 9:45 a.m.
This year, Erin Hofacre is the Assistant Coach.
