Petersburg’s power was out for two hours this morning from a tree falling into power lines near Ketchikan. Power was also out in Wrangell and Ketchikan.

PHS music makers get high ratings at regional event

Hundreds of high schoolers from around Southeast recently gathered in Ketchikan for Music Fest. Petersburg’s concert band, jazz band, and concert choir were recognized for the quality of their performances by earning superior ratings.
