Twelve go cart crews race in Humpy 500
The rain held off Saturday afternoon for the 18th edition of the Humpy 500 go cart race down the in Petersburg. This year’s race featured a dozen 55-gallon drum go carts decked out to look like everything from a Viking ship, to the Whiskey November buoy, to a sea horse. Joe Viechnicki stopped by Petersburg Fisheries plant during the cart judging just before Saturday’s race and put together this audio postcard.
