Stikine moose numbers look a little lower than game managers would prefer this year. That’s according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, which just completed the second of two aerial surveys along the Stikine drainage last week. One survey took place in December, the other was this past Wednesday. Matt Lichtenstein asked Wildlife Biologist Rich Lowell for the results:
