PHS volleyball has four wins, two losses at seeding tourney

Petersburg’s High School’s varsity volleyball team won four matches and lost two at their first seeding tournament of the season last weekend in Craig. The Vikings lost to Wrangell and Craig, while beating Metlakatla, Haines, Klawock and Skagway. Joe Viechnicki spoke with coach Jaime Cabral about the matches starting off with two wins Friday against Klawock and Skagway.

The volleyball team has this weekend off. The following week the team has its first and only home matches with the second seeding tournament starting Thursday November 1st.
