PHS wrestling sees individual successes mid-season

Petersburg assembly to consider several items at Monday meeting

Petersburg borough assembly is meeting at noon Monday to hold a public hearing on a potential new development code for the borough. They’ll also consider replacing the solid waste baler, spending more money on a harbor feasibility study, and a proposal by a Medivac company to provide emergency transports to all insured borough residents for an annual fee.

Petersburg robotics students prepare for competition

The robotics club at Petersburg Junior High School is preparing for competition in December. As KFSK reports, the students spend hours after school computer programming a robot, practicing teamwork, and using a lot of Legos.

A biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is speaking in Petersburg Thursday about marine debris and marine mammals getting entangled.
